But I can't help but share this.

Tod's doing icon day again!

Looking to get a non-fandom OC drawn? Check it out!

For example, he drew the nifty phoenix icon I've got now!
[livejournal.com profile] ninjahijinx is awesome.

Just so it's known for the record.

Computer imploded so it may be a few days before I'm seen again.

On the Wii atm. So I'm not entirely inacessable. Just really slow.

ETA: If someone in the aarn irc channel could announce this I'd appreciate it.
And just like that.

She's gone.
My life has been interesting lately.

Let's cut back to April 12th?

Granny fell.

Apparently, she broke her hip, and it took us two weeks of convincing to get her to go to the Doctor to even have it checked. It was, as I was informed, a clean break. Nothing came unseated or anything.

She had the surgery to fix this, but now she's got tons of other shit piling up at once.

To cut the explanation curt, Granny may very well not come home.

This is basically to say, what was already "interesting" for the past few weeks is only liable to only get even more so. Especially if she passes away.

This is not to garner sympathy. This is not me completely panicking. Yet

I'm largely doing this so that my friends and RP buddies are informed and kept up to date as to what's going on with my life and schedule.

We don't know what's going to happen. With Granny, or us, but I'll probably do a more detailed update regarding everything in the future when I've got more information.

Incidentally, Alex? This pretty much means any prospect of me getting a TV in the near future just plummeted further into the toilet, so, do what you will with that information.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, lady, hey, lady, hey, lady, hey, lady, lady, lady, lady, lady, lady, lady, lady, lady, lady, SPACE.

What's your favorite thing about space? Mine is Space

My journal is friends only, as you'll plainly plainly see. Comment here to contact me, or see if I shall friend ye.

Dear 2010

You had your ups and downs this year, though I, personally, would've preferred far less 'down' moments than you seemed to cheerfully throw my way.

As such, I'm hoping that twenty-eleven shall be a bigger improvement to me.

Signed with.. well. Whatever.

Dear 2011:

Your previous generation didn't come through on flying cars and teleporters. I'm watching you. You better surpass this.

I believe a firm w00t is in order.
Tod is doing another icon day! And they're always awesome, and personally drawn!
Tod's doing another Icon day, so get yours now! :D
<[livejournal.com profile] goldenwing6560> Hell, I think I said as much in the beginning.
<[livejournal.com profile] shenalia> Yeah?
<[livejournal.com profile] goldenwing6560> yeah
<[livejournal.com profile] goldenwing6560 > That I was basically transplanting Anna from another RP I was in since I was familiar with how she acted, but I didn't know Aarn that well.
<[livejournal.com profile] goldenwing6560 > That way I could learn the setting through experiance and experimentation
<[livejournal.com profile] goldenwing6560 > (Ergo: SCIENCE)
<[livejournal.com profile] shenalia > XD

Posting this to spread the word. My opinion: Her father is a grade A Asshat.

Alex> It's how vehicles should work. Who cares where the engine is! Runs the car no matter where you put it
Fina> XD
Kieran> That -would- be nice
Fina> And slapping more engines on it equals more power!
Fina> AND *GUNS*
Mr_Death> Wouldn't it need wheels? >.>
Alex> The wheels are full of guns
Fina> XD
Alex> Each gun is angled downwards so the car is propelled forward by firing the gun
Alex> (There is no reverse)
* Alex snorts at the No Accounting For Taste TV Tropes article
<Alex> "Bulma hits on guys constantly. Vegeta... I don't know, probably he saw Goku had a wife and just wanted a better one."
<Xeno> What, why
<Kieran> XD
<Alex> I can see it too
<Alex> * Vegeta looks at Chi-Chi
<Alex> <Vegeta> . o O ( Damn, Kakkarott has a wife! I can't let him outdo me! )
<Alex> * Vegeta looks around and points at Bulma.
<Alex> <Vegeta> You! We're getting married! Right this instant!
<Alex> <Bulma> And that's how you were born. <Trunks> D:
Last ship picture before I start to construct anything else:

This one.

That's just to give a bit of sense of scale of the thing :P

Now, if anyone's interested, I've got a Dreamwidth account now.
So, I was poking around my room today.

I find a half deconstructed pirate set of legos involving a treasure chest and a lifeboat.

Naturally, I start fiddling with all of this, attempting to turn the lifeboat into something of an airship.

Then I discover I wanted more parts for what I wanted to do.

I had two space ships laying around that I had to dig out of junk on a shelf.

This is one of them

This was the other.

As I took them apart, I started to discover how much attention to detail I had as I worked. Both of them had sort of sections reserved for power sources, and the red one had a lot of junk thrown into the back hatch, presumably so I wouldn't lose it or something.

A good example of what I mean, as this one was easier to see once I started to take it apart. The red one had a similar set up involving a transparent orange box and a crystal inside it.

Both ships together so you get an idea of how big they are.

Given I made them like eight, nine, or maybe even ten years ago, the fact that they held together this long is astonishing. The bigger astonishing fact was how much of a bitch they were to take apart. So I apparently tended to make fairly solidly built ships.

It was also showing me how much I missed playing with legos.

But you're wondering how turning the pirate lifeboat into an airship went, aren't you?

Well. The real question is...

Do ya think the sharks are a little much?

Rear view.
